Our Ministries

Aid For Friends

The mission of Aid for Friend (AFF) is to alleviate the hunger and loneliness of isolated, home-bound individuals.

Meals are prepared by volunteers at Trevose United Methodist Church an stored in our freezer. The meals are picked up and distributed by AFF volunteers in weekly visits to their clients.

We invite you to learn more about AFF by visiting their website (http://www.aidforfriends.org) and consider joining us at TUMC as either a  donor (preparing individual meals) or as a volunteer when we prepare meals and store them in our freezer. Containers are available at the church if you wish to be a donor.

For further information, please contact Brianne Hodgdon.

Crisfield Mission Trip

This past July, some of our members combined with other churches and went on a week-long Mission Trip to Crisfield, Maryland to help rebuild homes that were destroyed by Hurricane Sandy. All who participated said it was extremely rewarding and they had lots of fun!

Youth Summer Camp

Pocono Plateau Camp & Retreat Center "Experiencing the gospel of Jesus Christ through recreation, challenge and reflection".

During the school year and on a monthly basis, Sunday Lunch is provided and all proceeds go towards our Youth Fund. We also plan on having yard sales, lemonade sales, and other ideas are in the works to raise funds to send our youth to Summer Camp. At camp, kids take a break from their regular routines, allowing them to think about their futures, evaluate unhealthy patterns and discover the truth that God loves them and has an amazing plan for their lives. .
